About this role

Following our successful bid on the Alberta NVIS Forestry contract, Canadian Helicopters is expanding its operational team. We seek experienced NVIS pilots to support night forestry operations on the Airbus H125 in Alberta. Join Topflight Elite Training & Charter Services for this key role.

Pilots will act as per operation standards during night missions. Responsibilities include supporting forestry tasks with NVIS equipment on the H125 helicopter. Additional duties relate directly to safe night operations in challenging terrain.

Requirements

  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Rotary-wing Licence
  • Canadian Pilot Licence - Helicopter (CPL-H) or ATPL (H)
  • NVIS endorsement with recent operational experience
  • Experience on Airbus H125 (preferred)
  • Forestry, utility, or night-operations experience (strong asset)
  • Valid Category 1 Medical
  • Ability to work 2-and-2 rotational schedule
  • Authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship)

Responsibilities

  • Act as pilot per operation standards
  • Conduct night forestry operations using NVIS on Airbus H125
  • Support Alberta NVIS Forestry contract missions
  • Perform utility or night operations in forestry environments
  • Maintain strong safety culture and crew resource management
  • Execute rotational schedule duties in assigned area
  • Handle any other responsibilities related to NVIS piloting
