About this role

We are seeking a talented Flight Attendant to perform duties as a third crew member in corporate aircraft in accordance with FAR 91 and USAA Flight Operations procedures. This role is responsible for all in-flight services and ground-based preparations to ensure passengers have a safe and comfortable air travel experience.

You will coordinate flight catering and beverage requirements, ensuring the aircraft and commissary are properly stocked. Conduct cabin safety briefings with passengers to familiarize them with all safety precautions and emergency procedures. Assist passengers with boarding, deplanement, and baggage removal while providing professional and courteous service.

This position is based in San Antonio, TX, and requires an individual to be in the office with a flexible work environment. You will communicate with senior company executives and Board Members, upholding USAA's core values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and service. Relocation assistance is available for this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • Previous Flight Attendant Career Training School (FACTs) or equivalent training in cabin safety and emergency procedures.
  • 4 or more years of flight attendant experience, preferably in a Corporate Flight Operation environment.
  • CPR & First Aid certified.
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food allergies.
  • Able and willing to travel at or around 100 days a year.
  • Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provides aircraft cabin service in a professional, polite and courteous manner to maximize passenger and crew comfort, safety and well being.
  • Coordinates flight catering and beverage requirements, and ensures aircraft and commissary is properly stocked.
  • Conducts cabin safety briefings with passengers to familiarize them with all safety precautions and emergency procedures.
  • Assists passengers with boarding, deplanement and baggage removal.
  • Performs administrative and other operational duties as assigned by the Director, Flight Operations.
  • Communicates with senior company executives and Board Members.
  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
