About this role

The Second In Command (SIC) reports administratively to the Chief Pilot with home base at St. Petersburg, Florida (PIE), requiring residence in that region. The SIC reports to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight. Assists the PIC in preparing and ensuring safe, efficient operation of company aircraft under Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Conduct safe and efficient flight operations for domestic trip assignments under Part 135 regulations while maintaining high customer service. Adhere to duties in company procedures manuals. Greet passengers, assist with seating and luggage storage, conduct briefings, and respond to requests.

Maintain current first-class medical certificate and notify company of impairing conditions. Demonstrate high professionalism, coordinate and lead crew. Work in environments with loud airplane noises, jet engines, outdoor hangar settings, extreme temperatures, and cramped business aircraft interiors.

Handle physical demands including seeing/hearing clearly, moving in tight quarters, lifting 50 pounds, and working all weather. Travel required 100% on rotation with 6 on 8 off schedule. Uphold self-starter motivation, problem-solving under pressure, and effective communication.
