The Co-Pilot performs as second-in-command for logging, construction, firefighting, and passenger operations. Duties include operating the aircraft safely in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Rotorcraft Flight Manuals, and company policies while maintaining communications with crew and maintenance personnel.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • US Commercial Pilot License or higher with Rotorcraft-Helicopter class rating
  • FAA Medical – Second Class or higher
  • Minimum of 1500 PIC hours required
  • Instrument rating required
  • Long line experience preferred
  • Ability to travel and work overseas or domestically in remote places
  • Understands maneuvers, procedures, and emergency operations appropriate to the aircraft

Responsibilities

  • Performs as second-in-command for logging, construction, firefighting, and passenger operations
  • Operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Rotorcraft Flight Manuals, and company policies
  • Maintains currency in the type aircraft flown and proficiency in Part 91, Part 133, Part 135, and Part 137 operations
  • Maintains communications with crew, maintenance, and relevant office personnel
  • Works with maintenance personnel to maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition
  • Conducts oneself in accordance with company core values
