You will perform IFR flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments, working closely with our customer to respond efficiently to aircraft tasking while maintaining a high level of safety. Coordination and effective communication between crew and dispatch is essential.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to relocate to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
  • Valid Canadian passport or authorization to work in Canada and to travel to USA; no sponsorship available.
  • Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical.
  • Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security assessment application for NVG purposes.
  • Immunization records with required vaccinations mandatory; criminal record search will be conducted prior to hire.
  • For Captain: Valid and unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License, minimum 2000 hours rotary wing flight time, 500 hours as PIC (200 hours multi-engine), and minimum 2 years of instrument flight operations experience.
  • For First Officer: ATPL or passed ATPL written exams within the previous 12 months, valid Commercial Rotary-wing License, minimum 500 hours rotary-wing time, Transport Canada Group IV Instrument rating, and unrestricted Night Rating.
  • Previous experience in a 703 Air Ambulance operation as Captain preferred; NVG experience and S76 endorsement considered assets.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Captain or First Officer in accordance with Company operation standards.
  • Perform IFR flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments.
  • Work closely with the customer to respond efficiently to aircraft tasking while maintaining a high level of safety.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively between crew and dispatch.
  • Carry out all duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety protocols.
