In this role you will support Guest Services teams by handling daily operational inquiries from Japanese-speaking passengers while delivering friendly attentive service. You will maintain high visibility during published desk hours and provide a warm welcoming greeting to every passenger and staff member.

Requirements
- At least 1 year experience as Front Desk Receptionists from 4 or 5 star hotels/resorts or cruise ships.
- Graduate of a recognized hotel or business school (preferred).
- Proficiency in the use of computer-based programs (M/S Office, Outlook, various Web Browsers).
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Good command of the Japanese language, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of the foundation of customer service with ability to excel in delivering outstanding service.
- Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm friendly caring personality.
- Commitment to establish and maintain courteous professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Guest Services teams with daily operational inquiries from Japanese-speaking passengers.
- Provide a positive first impression to every passenger and staff member through a warm welcoming greeting.
- Maintain high visibility during published desk hours while socializing with passengers and answering general inquiries.
- Address passenger inquiries regarding onboard amenities and services with a focus on Japanese-speaking passengers.
- Listen to complaints from non-English-speaking passengers with empathy and show genuine interest at all times.
- Take ownership of each complaint, follow up with the passenger, and update the Passenger in Focus file with resolution details.
- Provide the Guest Services teams with information, translated documents, and other tools to assist Japanese-speaking passengers.
- Hold daily desk hours as published or as directed by the Guest Services Director.
