Perform IFR flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments as Captain. Work closely with customers, responding efficiently to aircraft tasking while maintaining high safety levels. Coordinate and communicate effectively between crew and dispatch.

Operate from Halifax base on shift schedule, not a touring position. Be customer focused and a team player with good communication skills and positive attitude. Fulfill all duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to relocate to Halifax, Nova Scotia
  • Valid Canadian passport or valid authorization to work in Canada and travel to USA
  • Valid Class 1 Medical
  • Valid and unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License for Captain
  • Minimum of 2000 hours rotary wing flight time for Captain
  • Minimum of 500 hours Rotary-wing time for First Officer
  • Transport Canada Group IV Instrument rating
  • Ability to successfully complete Controlled Goods Security assessment for NVG purposes

Responsibilities

  • Act as Captain as per Company operation standards
  • Perform IFR Flights in challenging and rapidly changing environment

  • Act as pilot as per Company operation standards
  • Perform all duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager
