About this role

Marvin is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Captain/First Officer to join its corporate flight department operating a Beech 1900D aircraft. This is a great opportunity to work for a family-owned business that has operated a corporate flight department for over 47 years. Safety, customer service, and operational excellence are the top priorities of Marvin’s aviation department.

Conduct preflight and post flight inspections, file and review flight plans, and review weather conditions before each trip. Supervise aircraft servicing and report maintenance discrepancies as they arise. Assume flight duties as PIC or SIC as assigned by the Chief Pilot.

The role supports a family-owned window and door manufacturer with operations across North America. The aviation department maintains a strong focus on its Safety Management System and follows company and manufacturer Standard Operating Procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Airline Transport Pilot or Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine-Land rating
  • FAA First Class Medical
  • Ability to obtain PIC/SIC type rating in Beech 1900D
  • Valid Passport with no travel restrictions and valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a background check and lift 50 lbs
  • No accidents or violations
  • Captain requirements: 3000 total hours and 500 turbine hours
  • First Officer requirements: 1500 total hours, 350 multi-engine hours, and 100 instrument hours

Responsibilities

  • Participate in department Safety Management System.
  • Report maintenance discrepancies.
