Bristow Helicopters (Nigeria) Limited is accepting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the Co-Pilot position on its expanding AW 189 Helicopter Fleet. This role focuses on offshore operations in Port Harcourt, NG, demanding precision and adherence to strict aviation standards.

Co-Pilots are directly responsible for all operations pertaining to the safe efficient conduct of the flight from initial dispatch until termination. They participate in Safety Management System (SMS) activities, supporting safety culture and reporting aviation safety-related issues.

The team environment requires working collaboratively, maintaining a professional image with excellent oral and written communication skills. Professionals interface well with internal and external clients, representing the company in offshore settings.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • Must have good knowledge of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (NCARs)
  • A current ICAO / NCAA license
  • Total time – 1100 hours minimum
  • Total PIC – 500 hours minimum
  • Total Multi PIC – 500 hours minimum
  • Total Offshore – 100 hours minimum
  • At least one-year offshore experience
  • Class 1 medical

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for all operations pertaining to the safe efficient conduct of the flight from initial dispatch until termination of the flight
  • Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) activities to include supporting and promoting the safety culture, reporting all aviation safety-related issues
  • Ensure cleanliness of company equipment such as aircraft, vehicles, offices, and living quarters
  • Submit accurate and complete expense reports
  • Maintain a professional, helpful, and congenial customer relation
  • Assist in monitoring flight instruments and navigation during offshore helicopter operations
  • Adhere to processes related to accomplishing SMS goals in AW 189 fleet operations
