About this role

NHV Group is a European-based helicopter service provider specialised in business-to-business helicopter services both offshore and onshore. As H175 Co-Pilot, execute scheduled offshore energy flights in the safest and most efficient manner. Comply with aviation regulations while upholding NHV standards.

Assist the Pilot-in-Command with technical preparation of flights, including route planning, fuel calculation, performance limitations, and general helicopter inspection. Ensure all pre and post-flight administration is completed accurately under supervision. Raise any reportable incidents and issues via the correct channels post-flight.

Conduct pilot duties under the supervision of the Pilot-in-Command, fully complying with safety rules, requirements, limitations, and SOPs. Work alongside the Pilot-in-Command to ensure all safety systems and equipment function correctly. Demonstrate awareness of customer service requirements and client business needs.

Maintain good working knowledge of NHV Ops Manuals, Notices To Pilots, and related procedures. Perform other assigned flying duties and complete tasks allocated by the Chief Pilot. Lead by example, promote team spirit, and respect the code of conduct and Drugs & Alcohol policy.

Requirements

  • UK CPL(H) License privileges
  • Valid UK Class 1 Medical
  • Valid UK IFR (H) Multi Engine privileges
  • UK ATPL (H) theory and MCC certificate – essential
  • H175 Type rating – essential
  • 500 hours multi-engine on helicopters (may include up to 10% in approved flight simulator)
  • 100 hours in command (may include up to 10% in flight simulator)
  • 50 hours on H175 – essential

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pilot-in-Command with technical preparation of flights including route planning, fuel calculation, performance limitations and general inspection of the helicopter
  • Ensure all pre and post-flight administration is completed accurately under the supervision of the Pilot-in-Command
  • Assist the Pilot-in-Command with raising reportable incidents and issues post-flight via the correct channel
  • Conduct pilot duties under the supervision of the Pilot-in-Command whilst complying with all safety rules, requirements, limitations and SOPs
  • Work alongside the Pilot-in-Command to ensure safety systems and equipment are functioning correctly
  • Maintain good working knowledge of NHV Ops Manuals, Notices To Pilots and related procedures
  • Demonstrate awareness of customer service requirements and understanding of the client's business and needs
  • Perform other assigned flying duties as required
