Perform IFR flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments while acting as Captain or pilot per company standards. Work closely with customers, respond efficiently to aircraft tasking, and maintain high safety levels. Coordinate and communicate effectively between crew and dispatch.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to relocate to Halifax, Nova Scotia
  • Valid Canadian passport or authorization to work in Canada and travel to USA
  • Valid Class 1 Medical
  • Ability to complete Controlled Goods Security assessment for NVG purposes
  • Valid and unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License (Captain)
  • Minimum 2000 hours rotary wing flight time and 500 hours PIC with 200 multi-engine (Captain)
  • Valid ATPL or passed ATPL written exams within previous 12 months (First Officer)
  • 500 hours Rotary-wing time and Transport Canada Group IV Instrument rating (First Officer)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Captain as per Company operation standards
  • Perform IFR Flights in challenging and rapidly changing environment
  • Work closely with customer and respond efficiently to aircraft tasking while maintaining high level of safety
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively between crew and dispatch
  • Complete all duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager
  • Act as a pilot as per Company operation standards
  • Handle any other responsibility related to the position
