About this role

Amentum is seeking a Flight Attendant based in Las Vegas, NV, to perform essential duties aboard company-operated aircraft. This role involves ensuring passenger safety, compliance with regulations, and smooth flight operations. Candidates will support emergency procedures and maintain aircraft readiness.

Daily responsibilities include pre- and post-flight checks, briefing passengers on emergency equipment, and manifesting flights while following security protocols. Flight Attendants stock supplies, perform light cleaning, and provide first aid or CPR as needed. Additional tasks may occur in terminal areas or company offices.

The work environment features a typical office setting with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, standing, and walking. Constant mental alertness and planning skills are required to meet deadlines. Speech and hearing abilities support effective communication during operations.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Pass Company operated jet aircraft Emergency Training and Initial Flight Attendant Training and maintain currency
  • Effectively perform all assigned physical duties without difficulty or assistance
  • Push and pull heavy hinged aircraft doors weighing up to 80 lbs
  • Comply with Company specified dress code and uniform guidelines
  • Possess effective oral communication skills including good public speaking abilities
  • Proficient math knowledge and computer skills
  • Qualify for and maintain a Top-Secret US Government security clearance; US citizenship required without dual citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Perform Flight Attendant duties aboard Company operated aircraft
  • Post/Pre-flight aircraft as assigned
  • Brief passengers on aircraft emergency equipment and procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Manifest flights and ensure security practices and procedures are followed
  • Provide leadership, direction, and assistance during emergency situations
  • Attend all company meetings and training classes as required
  • Stock supplies and perform light cleaning of aircraft interiors
  • Perform other Flight Attendant duties including passenger comfort and safety
