Captains act as pilot-in-command, performing IFR flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments while coordinating effectively with crew and dispatch. Requirements

Must be willing to relocate to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Valid Canadian passport or authorization to work in Canada and travel to USA (no sponsorship available).
Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical.
Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security assessment application for NVG purposes.
Immunization records with required vaccinations.
Criminal record search will be conducted prior to hire.
For Captain: Valid and unrestricted ATPL(H), minimum 2000 hours rotary wing flight time, 500 hours PIC including 200 hours multi-engine, and 2 years IFR experience.
For First Officer: Valid ATPL or passed ATPL written exams within 12 months, Commercial Rotary-wing License, 500 hours rotary, Group IV Instrument rating, and Night rating.

Responsibilities

Act as Captain or First Officer per Company operation standards.
Perform IFR flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments.
Work closely with customers, responding efficiently to aircraft tasking while maintaining a high level of safety.
Coordinate and communicate effectively between crew and dispatch.
Perform all duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager.
Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure aircraft readiness for air ambulance missions.
Assist with patient loading and medical equipment configuration during air ambulance operations.
