Amentum is seeking a Flight Attendant based in Las Vegas, NV. This role involves performing essential duties aboard company-operated aircraft, ensuring passenger safety and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include briefing passengers on emergency equipment and procedures.
Day-to-day tasks encompass pre- and post-flight aircraft checks, manifesting flights, and maintaining security practices. Flight Attendants stock supplies, perform light cleaning of interiors, and handle passenger comfort and safety matters. Leadership and assistance during emergencies are critical requirements.
The work environment features typical office settings with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, standing, and walking. Constant mental alertness, planning skills, and ability to meet deadlines are essential. Speech and hearing abilities support effective communication.
Training includes company-operated jet aircraft emergency and initial Flight Attendant programs, with ongoing currency maintenance. Familiarity with basic First Aid, CPR, and AED is necessary. Additional duties may arise in terminal or office locations.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Pass Company operated jet aircraft Emergency Training and Initial Flight Attendant Training and maintain currency
- Effectively perform all assigned physical duties without difficulty or assistance
- Push and pull heavy hinged aircraft doors weighing up to 80 lbs
- Comply with Company specified dress code and uniform guidelines
- Possess effective oral communication skills including good public speaking abilities
- Proficient math knowledge and computer skills
- Qualify for and maintain a Top-Secret US Government security clearance; US citizenship required without dual citizenship
Responsibilities
- Perform Flight Attendant duties aboard Company operated aircraft
- Conduct post/pre-flights of aircraft as assigned
- Brief passengers on aircraft emergency equipment and procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manifest flights and ensure security practices and procedures are followed
- Provide leadership, direction, and assistance during emergency situations
- Attend all company meetings and training classes as required
- Stock supplies and perform light cleaning of aircraft interiors
- Handle other Flight Attendant duties including passenger comfort, safety, and related matters
