Breeze seeks “Seriously Nice” Part Time Flight Attendants for the MSY Crew Base, responsible for Guest safety and comfort. Flight Attendants provide exceptional Guest experiences by warmly welcoming passengers, assisting with seating, luggage stowage, and information requests. They prepare and serve meals, snacks, beverages including alcohol, while maintaining hygiene and cabin cleanliness in tight quarters. They monitor the cabin, stay approachable, and remain flexible amid operational or weather delays.
Team Members collaborate, communicate effectively, and show respect to perform at their best together. They demonstrate personal responsibility by being punctual, proactive, and upholding professional appearance in and out of the cabin. Willingness to assist other departments and use Breeze’s Inflight technology is essential.
Paid initial training leads to eligibility for 401K after 90 days and travel benefits on Breeze after 30 days, expanding to other airlines after six months. Initial luggage and uniform are provided, with a monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours. Pay progresses from $25 per hour in the first six months to $37.50 by year eight.
Requirements
- Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
- Interview and be selected to become a Part Time Breeze Flight Attendant
- Successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training
- Stay current and compliant with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements
- Demonstrate good judgement and embrace Breeze’s Five Core Values
- Comfortable working in tight quarters and maintaining cabin cleanliness
- Capable of controlling personal and emotional responses
- Uphold professional appearance and etiquette guidelines
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional Guest experience by warmly welcoming Guests, aiding seating assignments, luggage stowage, and additional requests
- Remain positive, kind, empathetic, and act with humanity to make Guests feel valued
- Maintain a safe work environment for Guests and Team Members
- Remain calm under pressure and mitigate high-stress situations
- Effectively communicate, collaborate, and show respect for other Team Members
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages including alcohol while practicing highest hygiene standards
- Provide instruction on emergency and evacuation procedures to Guests
- Administer first-aid and medical care if required in emergencies
