Breeze Airways is seeking 'Seriously Nice' Pilots to join us as Airbus A220 First Officers. This role is responsible for ensuring safe and timely flight operations in accordance with all Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.

First Officers are responsible for thorough flight planning, including weather analysis and compliance with FARs. They perform pre- and post-flight inspections to ensure airworthy condition, and assist with handling aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at terminal points.

First Officers develop technically and professionally in preparation for transition to Pilot in Command. They maintain a high degree of proficiency and thorough knowledge of flight operations, procedures, and systems applicable to the Airbus A220.

Requirements

Must be at least 23 years old at the time of hire.
FAA ATP Certificate or Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi engine and instrument ratings.
Current ATP Written completed if an FAA ATP is not held.
Must have 1,500+ hours total time (not including simulator and/or Flight Engineer time).
Must have 500+ hours fixed wing turbine time.
Must have a minimum of 750 hours of fixed wing time.
Must have a minimum of 500 hours cross country.
Must have a minimum of 250 hours fixed wing PIC, 100 hours night, and 75 hours instrument.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe and timely flight operations in accordance with all Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Maintain thorough working knowledge of equipment, Federal Aviation Regulations, Company manuals, Operations Specifications, and policies.
Plan flights in accordance with weather information, Company policies, and FARs, and be responsible to the Captain for proper planning.
Perform all duties the Captain may assign in flight.
Assess risk and use proper resources to keep risk at an acceptable level during all phases of ground and flight operations.
Employ the CRM concept of 'Assertiveness with Respect'.
Complete pre- and post-flight inspections to ensure the airworthy condition of assigned aircraft.
Assist with handling aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at terminal points where other company personnel are not available.
