At Hawaiian Airlines, flight attendants ensure the safety of guests aboard aircraft by being physically and psychologically capable of performing safety procedures and assisting in emergencies. They work in a fast-paced environment, handling all types of personalities attentively and pleasantly. Secondarily, they deliver consistent customer service including food and beverage during flights with an unsurpassed Aloha experience.
Flight attendants attend preflight briefings to review weather, route, emergency procedures, and onboard services, then prepare the cabin for boarding. They greet guests warmly, assist with seating and luggage, and respond to questions throughout the flight. Safety demonstrations cover seat belts, oxygen masks, and life jackets, while monitoring compliance.
During flights, they provide food and beverage service, collect payments, and prepare the cabin for landing. In emergencies, they direct evacuations, administer first aid, and handle equipment like oxygen bottles and fire extinguishers. Post-flight, they complete incident reports and assist deplaning.

Requirements
- Physically and psychologically capable of performing safety procedures and assisting in emergencies
- Able to handle emergency situations and deal with all types of personalities attentively
- Capable of working varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Obtain and maintain authorization for unescorted access to aircraft and SIDA areas
- Successfully complete annual FAA-approved re-certification training
- Maintain current knowledge of FAA and airline emergency procedures
- Able to meet physical demands of flying at high altitudes
- Italian language qualified
Responsibilities
- Attend preflight briefings to review flight details including weather, route, emergency procedures, and onboard services
- Greet guests warmly, direct to seats, assist with carry-on luggage, and provide courteous service
- Demonstrate safety equipment such as seat belts, oxygen masks, and life jackets; monitor compliance
- Direct and assist guests during emergency procedures including evacuations and administer first aid
- Provide food and beverage service, collect and reconcile payments for onboard purchases
- Prepare cabin for landing, ensure security, and assist with deplaning
- Complete annual FAA-approved re-certification and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures
- Collaborate with crew to deliver seamless guest experience and escalate issues professionally
