Scotts Miracle-Gro seeks an Aircraft Scheduler with Flight Attendant responsibilities for its Flight Department team in Columbus, Ohio. This role manages private air travel itineraries for passengers and aviation team, ensuring compliance with scheduling parameters for flight crews. It includes 20-30% Flight Attendant duties on a mid-size corporate aircraft to domestic and international destinations.

The Scheduler receives aircraft usage requests, assembles itineraries in a scheduling system, and develops pilot and flight attendant schedules compliant with FAA regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining records of crew schedules, flight logs, training, and certifications, plus communicating trip details to requesters. Additional tasks cover ground transportation, hotels, catering, and monthly aircraft usage reports.

Interact regularly with executive leadership and Board of Directors to provide scheduling reports, updates, and recommendations. Address conflicts effectively and partner with the aviation department on FBO locations. Flight Attendant duties ensure passenger welfare, safety, preflight/postflight checks, and operation of entertainment systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in aircraft scheduling, private aircraft (Part 91) preferred
  • Experience utilizing MySky software preferred
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and flight time limitations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a Part 91 Scheduler, receiving aircraft usage requests and assembling itineraries in a scheduling system
  • Develop and manage pilot and flight attendant schedules, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and flight time limitations
  • Maintain accurate records of crew schedules, flight logs, training, and certifications
  • Communicate with aircraft requesters, providing trip sheets and final travel details
  • Interact with executive leadership and Board of Directors for scheduling reports and recommendations
  • Schedule travel arrangements including ground transportation, hotels, and aircraft catering
  • Perform preflight and postflight checks of cabin and galley equipment
  • Ensure passenger welfare and safety on board the aircraft
