Training occurs at facilities in Phoenix, Arizona, with full monthly guarantee pay of 76 hours. Company-paid ATP/CTP course, single-occupancy lodging, and positive space travel support new hires. Crew bases offer flexible basing options across the network.

Mesa partners with United Express Aviate Program, providing a direct path to United as First Officer after program completion. Captain upgrade possible in 15 months or less with 2,500 total hours and 1,000 Part 121 hours. Competitive pay scales reward experience up to $112.21 hourly.

Requirements

  • 1500 hours Total Flight Time
  • 500 hours Cross Country Time
  • 100 hours Total Night Time
  • 50 hours Multi Engine Time, Fixed Wing
  • 250 hours Pilot in Command Time, Fixed Wing
  • 100 hours Instrument Time
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine and Instrument ratings
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • ATP Written; CTP training provided for qualified applicants
  • Current Valid Passport with legal U.S. work authorization

Responsibilities

  • Fly Embraer-175 regional jets from multiple crew bases
  • Utilize Electronic Flight Bag for all phases of flight
  • Operate aircraft under FAA Part 121 regulations
  • Monitor flight instruments and assist Captain during operations
  • Complete training at Phoenix facilities with full pay guarantee
  • Participate in United Express Aviate Program for career progression
  • Upgrade to Captain after meeting 2,500 total hours and 1,000 Part 121 hours
