Qantas

Auckland, NZ · Full-time · NZ$180,000 – NZ$250,000

About this role

Applications are being sought for permanent B737 Command positions based in Auckland. The Command Upgrade Criteria are published in the Jetconnect Administration Manual. Qantas Training and Checking Manual details requirements for promotion to Captain.

In addition, the role of the Company Aircrew Assessment Committee (CAAC) is outlined in the manuals. Requirements of a Command Upgrade as detailed in the relevant Employment Agreement will be adhered to. The latest Vacancy Priority List is available on SharePoint.

First Officers who completed the Command Upgrade Assessment Process more than twelve months ago may undergo the Full Assessment again. Those who successfully completed it must still apply for these vacancies. This ensures current competency for command roles.

A Command Upgrade training bond as outlined in the Employment Agreement will apply. Pilots transferring base for a Command position bear all associated costs. All applications must be made via Workday by the advertised deadline in the Jetconnect Standing Order.
