About this role

NHV Group is a European based helicopter service provider, specialised in business-to-business helicopter services both offshore and onshore. The EC175 Line Training Captain executes crew training as required by the Crew Training Manager in accordance with aviation regulations. This role upholds NHV standards through personal example in line flying.

Day-to-day involves general supervision of line flying operating standards for pilots on the fleet. Deliver line training for new pilots and those in command course training, including briefing, conducting, and debriefing Line and Route/Role/Area Checks. Conduct pre-command assessments and complete Emergency and Safety Equipment training as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years’ Offshore Northern Europe experience
  • Minimum 500 hours of offshore P1 (not PICUS) experience
  • No NHV PC/OPC assessments with a grading below ‘Average’ in the last three years
  • Preference given to those with previous LTC experience
  • Sound ICT-knowledge (specific aviation software & administrative programs)
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to, and engage with, evolving training requirements
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide general supervision of line flying operating standards of pilots on the fleet
  • Deliver line training for new pilots, pilots engaged in command course training and on other occasions as required
  • Brief, conduct, and debrief pilot Line and Route/Role/Area Checks
  • Deliver and administer ground school instruction covering subjects relevant to line flying
  • Conduct pre-command assessments on candidates eligible for command
  • Complete Emergency and Safety Equipment training and checking when required
  • Ensure prompt and accurate completion and submission of NHV training report forms
  • Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, procedures, and controls
