About this role

We are inviting expressions of interest from qualified Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilots to join our Aviation & Critical Services team. The available position is a permanent full-time opportunity as an H145 Touring Pilot, commencing in the second half of 2026. Babcock MCS conducts emergency service and medical transport operations throughout Australia.

Successful applicants will conduct these flying operations in a 15 days on / 13 days off roster pattern as a Touring position. This role involves serving a purpose in our community while joining an experienced team. Pilots will perform critical aviation tasks in dynamic environments.

Requirements

Hold, or have ability to hold, an AGSVA Baseline security clearance
CASA ATPL
Class 1 Medical
Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and minimum 3 renewals
2500+ hrs total helicopter
1500+ hrs PIC helicopter
500+ hrs PIC MEH, not including ICUS
H145 type rating and 100+hrs experience on type

Responsibilities

Conduct emergency service and medical transport operations throughout Australia
Operate as H145 Touring Pilot on 15 days on / 13 days off roster
Perform flying operations in multi-engine helicopters
Execute instrument-rated flights with MEH endorsement
Utilize NVIS and low-level ratings for specialized missions
Deliver critical aviation services in touring capacity
Support community through emergency and medical transport
