We’re Virgin Australia, and we’re looking for Cabin Crew to join our team. A team that’s won the AirlineRatings.com Airline Excellence Award for Best Cabin Crew eight years in a row. We need your vibe to help light up our cabins and create wonderful experiences.

The lifestyle of a Cabin Crew member usually sees them being away from home for up to four days at a time. Flying out of Perth, on most shifts you’ll be back home on the same day. Only occasionally will you need to spend time away.

You’ll be welcoming people onboard our aircraft and seeing them off at the other end. You’ll give clear safety briefings and offer brilliant service to all our guests. You’ll help those with special needs and make flying fun for unaccompanied minors.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
At least 3 years of previous employment in roles focused on caring for people or customers
Passport with at least 18 months validity remaining
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or ability to obtain quickly
Current Australian First Aid and CPR certificate or ability to obtain quickly
Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
Ability to reach up to a height of 180cm and comfortable around cats and dogs

Responsibilities

Welcome guests onboard aircraft and see them off at the other end
Give clear and comprehensive safety briefings while ensuring adherence
Offer brilliant service to all guests
Help guests with special needs and make flying fun for unaccompanied minors
Handle situations outside of your control such as weather, delays and emergencies
Remain calm and confident under pressure so guests feel in good hands
