About this role

NHV Group is a European-based helicopter service provider specialised in business-to-business helicopter services both offshore and onshore. The AW169 & AW139 Co-Pilot executes scheduled oil and gas flights in the safest and most efficient manner. This upholds aviation regulations and NHV standards.

Assist the pilot-in-command in conducting efficient flights and administrative duties when requested. Maintain familiarity with relevant UK air legislation, aviation practices, and local procedures. Carry out flight duties in accordance with NHV’s SOPs, limitations, and performance for the allocated helicopter type.

Understand the client’s business and needs under the Chief Pilot's supervision. Support the pilot-in-command in maintaining crew discipline, conduct, and personal appearance. Lead by example, promote team spirit, and respect NHV’s code of conduct and Drugs & Alcohol policy.

Handle tasks forwarded by the Chief Pilot to the crew. Demonstrate flexibility for double crewing as a team player who is result-driven and customer-focused. Adapt to local content, culture, and environment while knowing procedures and processes.

Requirements

  • UK CAA CPL(H)
  • Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical
  • Valid UK CAA IR (H) Multi Engine
  • ATPL (H) theory and MCC certificate
  • AW139 type rating
  • AW169 type rating
  • Min. 500 hours total flight time on helicopters
  • Min. 500 hours multi-engine helicopter

Responsibilities

  • Execute scheduled oil and gas flights in the safest and most efficient manner per aviation regulations and NHV standards
  • Understand the client’s business and needs under the Chief Pilot's decision and supervision
  • Assist the pilot-in-command in conducting efficient flights
  • Maintain familiarity with relevant UK air legislation, agreed aviation practices, and local procedures
  • Maintain familiarity with NHV’s Operations Manual, NTPs, and related manuals
  • Carry out flight duties in accordance with NHV’s SOPs, limitations, and performance for allocated helicopter type
  • Support maintaining proper standard of crew discipline, conduct, and personal appearance
  • Lead by example and promote team spirit amongst colleagues
