You’re responsible for safely operating our fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft while delivering friendly, reliable service our Customers know and love.

All Pilots work in a highly organized environment demanding close coordination and teamwork with the Captain, Flight Attendants, Dispatcher, and Ground Personnel. Requirements

U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
FAA First Class Medical Certificate
Qualified to safely operate Boeing 737 aircraft
Compliance with 14 CFR 121 drug and alcohol testing requirements for safety-sensitive functions
No prohibited drugs in system per 14 CFR 121 Appendix I

Responsibilities

Provide friendly service to and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external Customers
Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company
Work with close coordination and teamwork with the Captain, Flight Attendants, Dispatcher and all Ground Personnel
Comply with all regulations and directives pertaining to the conduct of the flight in a manner suitable to the Captain
Operate in accordance with Southwest Airlines FAA Approved and FAA Accepted manuals, Operations Specifications, 14 CFRs, and FAA Orders
Submit reports on irregularities or incidents, as required
Immediately notify the Base Chief Pilot or Assistant Base Chief Pilot of any discrepancy or incident that may affect performance
Comply with the Company's Policies on a Drug-Free Workplace and Alcohol Misuse
